Why Digital Downloads No Longer Intimidate Me

Do digital downloads intimidate you? I know they did me for many, many years. I would come across so many amazing curriculums online only to be sent to the corner quivering when I saw the “download now” button. However, I am proud to share with you why digital downloads no longer intimidate me.

Digital Download Dilemma

For many years, I cowered at the notion of investing in downloadable products. Be it curriculum, planners, or other pdf printables I would sit frozen in front of the computer screen not able to complete the purchase. I hated the thought of having to print a product on my own. I had fallen for the trap before, where I would purchase something I was sure I would use, however, the pdf icon would just sit there idle on my computer screen never to be opened and sent to the printer.

The primary reason for never printing was the cost. Let’s face it — computer ink is no joke. I feel like it needs its own line item in our budget. In addition to the cost of the ink, nine times out of ten I would be in the midst of printing something and the printer would run out of ink. Tell me I’m not the only one who has ever had great intentions to “do something fun” and then not have the ink to print it or the money left in the budget to go and buy another cartridge.

Homeschool Printing Success

However, I am here to tell you I have the solution to your printing needs. The Homeschool Printing Company is a new small-business run by a veteran-homeschooling family, and they can print ALL THE THINGS at incredible prices.

The process of ordering the pdf’s I wanted to be printed was smooth and simple! And the cost-saving prices are unbeatable! Let me break it down for you some:

  • Black and White single sided was 3 cents a copy
  • Color single sided was 8 cents a copy
  • Color double sided was 14 cents a copy.

All you do is send them the pdfs you want to be printed either in email or Dropbox, they will send you the quote, and then you place your order. I could not be happier with the prints I received.

PDF Prints

Here are some of the PDF prints I ordered from The Homeschool Printing Company:

No Longer Intimidated by digital downloads because of The Homeschool Printing Company

I printed the Student Planners from Plan Your Year for my girls to use this year. They both loved assembling their planners. The Homeschool Printing Company will also 3-hole punch your prints if you would like, I opted to do that myself. They also offer additional services such as spiral-binding and single-sheet lamination.

Great Quality Prints from The Homeschool Printing Company

This coming year at our co-op, I am teaching We Choose Virtues. I have used We Choose Virtues in our home, and I am super excited to be teaching it at our co-op. One thing I was not ecstatic about was a majority of the curriculum is downloads. Even though I can make copies at our co-op, I would have still been responsible for initially printing all the documents. However, I was able to easily send The Homeschool Printing Company the documents needed to be printed, and I could not be happier!

I use The Homeschool Printing Company for great quality prints at affordable prices!

wow…that sounds like an excellent answer…especially for people without printers of their own (or unreliable ones).
