Where Did My Sweet Grandma Go?

Where Did My Sweet Grandma Go

I recently had the privilege to be on the Launch Team for my friend Lauren’s new book, “Where Did My Sweet Grandma Go?” I was able to review a digital version, and I just received my physical copy that I ordered this week. The imagery is absolutely stunning!

In her debut book, Lauren Flake helps preschoolers understand death and eternity through rhyming words and beautiful artwork.

After losing her mother to early onset Alzheimer’s, Lauren was prompted to write this book when talking with her daughter about her mother’s death. Lauren combined her mother’s artwork along with some of her own, to make this empirical book.

We all, unfortunately, will have to deal with the death of a loved one, and if you have little ones in your life, I cannot recommend this book enough.

Lauren has also compiled a Parents Guide including questions, activities and additional resources in the back of the book to assist you in walking through the process with your children.

Lastly, when you sign-up to receive Lauren’s weekly newsletter at loveofdixie.com, she will send you a pdf of a coordinating coloring book to go along with “Where Did My Sweet Grandma Go?”
