Random Acts of Kindness

Kindness Series

If we all stopped and thought for a minute, I am sure we would all be able to come up with a story to share about a Random Act of Kindness that was either done for us or someone we know. Whether it was the time an unknown someone paid your restaurant bill, the person in front of you at the drive-thru paid for your coffee, or you looked outside and saw that your sidewalk had been shoveled, kindness memories stick with us. We do not easily forget them.

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” (Aesop)

In today’s world, bullying seems to be running rampant in our culture. Social media has become a stomping ground for off-handed remarks and meanness wars. (Remember the trifecta of the election, the inauguration, and Facebook?) It appears that being mean, nasty, and downright rude are second nature to some. Are you okay with that? Do you want to see change? Change starts with me and change starts with you. We need to amplify kindness in our lives and the lives of those around us.
