January Goals Update {Better Late Than Never}

posted in: 2017 Goals | 0

So, I had very good intentions of updating you much sooner than the 14th of February on how I was doing on my 2017 Goals, but alas, it didn’t happen. So without further ado, I give you my January Goals Update. {Better Late Than Never}

January Goals Update

Overall, I am happy with my progress I made in January on my goals.  I didn’t hit one of my monthly goals (read aloud to kids 17 times), but I did do well at 14, and that is 14 more than I had done the previous month, so yay for progress! Also, I missed two days of God time. I have realized if I don’t get it done first thing on Saturday mornings, it is hard to make it happen.

Another Week Has Gone By…

Well, it is now the 20th of February, and I am STILL trying to get this post up! Ack! February has been a crazy month for some reason.   So a bit more of an update… Here is a recap of how I did or am doing on my goals:

2017 Goals Update - January

Here is my original goal post if you need a refresh one what they all are.

For my book goals, the book I read was Nothing to Prove by Jennie Allen, and I wrote a whole post about it, and my audio book for January was Lauren Graham’s book Someday, Someday Maybe. I had a weekend away, and it was the perfect book for my car ride.  I thought Lauren was in the car with me telling me her story!

Someone asked recently how I am tracking all of my goals.  I am tracking them in my Powersheets Goal Planner. I love my Powersheets.  They helped me pin down and focus on the goals I wanted to work on this year, and they are also perfect for tracking.  Every month has a “Tending List” where you can write down the goals you are working on and mark your progress.

The Tending List is ideal for tracking the things I want to do once or twice a month and then the things I want to do daily or 17 times a month.

So how did you do with your January goals?  Let me know in the comments! I hope to post a more timely update for February!
