Chockful List Of My Favorite Things Right Now

I love reading what other people’s favorite things are. I enjoy seeing what things they use and what things give them joy, what books they have read recently and loved, all of their favorite things.  Today, I thought I would share with you, what things I am loving, so here is a chockful list of my favorite things right now!

Beauty Products

I am going to start off by saying, I think I am a low maintenance kind of girl. I don’t care to spend a ton of money on beauty products, and I am usually one of the last people to buy into a fad of any kind. If something is usually a trending hot ticket item, I look for the knock-off. So, here are some of my favorite beauty items I have recently discovered on Amazon!!

I was starting to hear a lot of talk about 3D Mascara. However, the price point I saw it at, was not something I was willing to spend on mascara. I started searching on Amazon, my go-to place and I discovered this mascara, and it had over 4,000 reviews! With a much lower price point, I decided to give it a try. It is a mascara that also has a separate tube for fiber lashes, however, I hardly ever use the fiber part. The mascara alone is amazing. The pic below is (top) me with no mascara and (bottom) with one coat of the mascara – no fiber.

I also love these eyeshadow palettes.  I have the set pictured and also another palette of black and grays. They make blending many colors to get the look I want effortless.

My margin of time to go to a nice clothing store and look around is slim to none. I should probably check out one of those programs where people shop for you, but again, from what I hear, it is more than what I care to spend on clothes. I have found one brand of clothing on Amazon, that I have been very happy with. Two of my favorite shirts are from them.

Favorite Shirts

The shirt on the far right with the buttons is the shirt that I am wearing in my bio picture. I love it. By far my favorite shirt. I am very close to buying it in another color because I love it so much. The shirt in the middle is another favorite by the same company.  Lastly, the LOVE shirt on the left is another one I got from Amazon that I… love. (please excuse the wrinkles. I don’t iron)

Ok, disclosure, even though I am thankful for technological advances, I am not tech savvy. That is why I am thankful for products that help me in the technology world. First and foremost is Amazon Echo Dot. Seriously, Alexa is amazing.  We all love her. Even my reluctant husband is fond of her. We even made a video to show all the ways we use Alexa.

Another device that has become a life saver is the Disney Circle. Last summer we gifted the kids with old iPads. However, in doing so, we wanted to have a better handle on internet safety. After some research and recommendations, we purchased the Disney Circle. It has been a fantastic tool to help us with the kid’s use of their iPads — setting time limits and filters. If you want to have more control over your child’s internet experience, you need to check out the Disney Circle.

I love books. Books are my favorite.  If you would like to follow along with what I have been reading this year, you can follow me on Goodreads. So far this year I have a few books that have got a 5-Star rating from me:

I would love to know what books you are enjoying right now!!

I am a planner and a goal setter, so discovering Powersheets has been a huge blessing to me. I absolutely love them! Taking the time each month to focus and write down my goals, has been extremely helpful to me. I appreciate the process and the planner is stunning! Win. Win.

If you think this is for you, they have just re-stocked their 6-month goal planner! If you think Powersheets might be for you, check out the 6-month planner and finish the year strong!

I am always on the hunt for new favorites; please share in the comments what your favorite things are right now!

Also, I am linking up with Mrs. Discipe for her #FridayFive on Favorite Things.  I will be back next week sharing a few more favorites too so be sure to check back!

Ooh, I always love favorite things post. I agree The Magnolia story is wonderful. My mom is listening to it on audio right now; hearing it in Chip’s and Joanna’s own voices is bonus to a real love story.
